Sexual Fantasies
Has anyone ever noticed how wierd sexual fantasies are? And how our minds can get kind of fixated on the same old fantasies?
Now, sometimes this is useful. For instance, at times when I have been having trouble reaching a climax, I can mentally flick through my fantasy index, pull out one of the old reliables, and usually get off to it very successfully!
And actually, I find mine kind of entertaining. For instance, I am a historian by training, and so I am amused to find that quite a lot of my fantasies are about historical figures and scenarios.
There's one of my favourites, about being a young noblewoman in a castle with the young Henry VIII (you know, while he was still handsome and virile and a much-admired Rennaissance prince, rather than the tyrannical and murderous old hulk he later became). I am sitting in a chair, pracising the lute, and Queen Katharine and her ladies, except for me, have just left for a May Day picnic. And the king wanders into the room. Our eyes meet, and I see his look of desire. I turn away in confusion, and climb up on a chair to look out the window at the queen and the other ladies departing. And I feel his hand lift my skirt and travel up to my thigh...
Okay, another favourite. I have been captured by the men of a Turkish sultan, and sent to the harem to serve the sultan's pleasure. Even though I know that in real life the harem must have been an incredibly boring place, in my fantasies it is utterly different. There is something so erotic about the idea of semi-naked women sort of lying around all day, taught to please the sultan, and taking endless baths together, rubbing sweet oils on each other. Is it just that I find water so... you know... Anyway, my favourite scenario is that, when I am summoned, I find that a beautiful young man, with intense dark eyes and a grin like a pirate, has been chosen to "test" (taste!) the women to find which of them are good enough for the sultan. And of course, the test is how wonderful they taste, and how incredible their orgasms are... Guess who wins??!!
*sigh*
Is it just the fact that I am running a temperature that is making me so hot all over and my mind run with fantasies? Not to mention putting something this embarrassing on my blog. Now everyone will laugh at me!
And why always the same fantasies? Is this a female thing? Do men get fixated on the same old scenarios, even when they know how tired and cliched (not to mention Orientalist and non-PC) they are?

Henry VIII was a short, stocky guy. He had that condition where your face turns red all the time... I'm probably not helping with your fantasy much, huh? ;)
The second fantasy sounds a lot like a book I read recently!
My fantasies usually involve hotel rooms with thick walls, mirrored ceilings and a hot tub... It's the only place I can think of where I wouldn't feel obligated to bring a kid along! ;)
I have one dream with the lasso of truth and wonder woman but is more about being restrained than it is about sex. And I have one all the time about having sex with a guy who is telepathic, weird...

I also seem to have fantasies where there are a lot of people involved. It's not usually just a simple me-and-another-guy fantasy, there's a supporting cast.

I don't think I'm ready to really spill about my Lady of The Manor fantasy, that includes (but is not limited to) Tim Curry as my raunchy butler, Jason Statham as the lonely footman and a darling younger sister named Katherine that has blond curls and an oral fixation.
Maybe THAT'S my problem... I read yours and thought "Hmm... what are my fantasies?" and came up with... absolutely nothing. I think I spend more time dwelling on the fact that I'm not having sex than I do on what my "fantasy" would be.

I have a number of reliably arousing fantasies too. Some are quite elaborate and some involve nothing more than a fleeting thought or image. Yet calling up that thought is sometimes all I need to get started.
My low-libido husband says that he has no fantasies. None. After extensive discussion, I've come to believe him. I sometimes think that it must be very boring to have his mind, preoccupied all day with food and consumer electronics and never with sex. Ah well: to each his own.
C-Marie and Mu-Ling, I think you should at least hint at one of yours. Because the sorry fact is that I am running out of inspiration and need new material :-)

Mu-Ling, I know just what you mean. When I ask the Big Dude about his fantasies, he looks at me like I am a crazy and perverted) woman, says he has none, and that even if he did, they would be none of my business!

Maybe men don't, but they wonder why they are on the cold side of the bed! Maybe they could warm things up by telling us one of their fantasies. Men seem to hate talking SO much. But personally a hot fantasy would put me in the mood much faster than a touch would I think...
Let's just say that there is some of my favorite kink involved. The ultimate for me is dominating while being locked up. Getting totally worked up but not quite being able to get over the edge and having that rawness fuel more domliness. Difficult to explain, but I'm totally into the contradiction of it.

Well, disappointingly, just another woman checking in here with one of my many, many, many fantasies.
One of my favorites is the one about having group sex in a totally dark room, having no idea who is touching, sucking, or fucking who. It's just a bunch of anonymous people doing wild and wonderful things to each other.

I have lots of fantasies. Some even having to do with blogger's whose name starts with E. Mostly mine aren't as scenario-like as yours; more pictures of different body parts. Positions. Some deal with mysterious women with their hands bound, and eyes blindfolded. I'm then free to taste their bodies entirely. Make them come over and over. Until finally they beg me to fuck them and let them collapse.

Sorry for the delay in responding. Just got home from my weekend trip.
Yes I do have fantasies. I would love to be able to share them with a special someone too. But it gets to be kind of hard to share them when your significant others reaction is to say 'That'll never happen'. So you ask what are your fantasies and the response is 'I don't have time for fantasies. I don't have them'.
But because I like you I'll just say that one of my favorites is from a scene in Fatal Attraction where Michael Douglas and ......can't remember her name are having the affair in the kitchen. That one has been with me since my teen years. Most of my favorites now involve SR and I together. Sometimes alone, sometimes with another person or maybe more. When we are alone I just think about her totally letting go. Taking control of me, telling me exactly what she wants. Then not worrying about who might hear us. As she is just letting everyone know how good she is feeling.

Funny, I've recently read 'My Secret Garden' and 'Men in Love' by Nancy Friday, all about women's and men's sexual fantasies - proving that the imagination has no bounds! I have enough fantasies to fill a book. Seriously. Even just lengthy scenarios I want to do with my wife. I've written out some of them, but the execution doesn't seem to go as well as the idea stage. Ask Tajalude about the fantasy box sometime... That's something we've both tried.
From looking at the rest of these, it seems as though women all have fantasies that are like those cheesy romance novels. I can't think of one time I've fantasized about sex with a dead monarch.
