In case anyone was wondering, he didn't forget. But he says he is very tired, he needs to go to bed early, and "faithfully promises" we'll do it tomorrow night.

Not completely unexpected, so why have my spirits plummeted down to my boots?

Oh, Emily, I feel for you. I really do. I've been there and done that so many times. Sometimes I find it heartbreaking reading your posts. They sound all too familiar to me, and I hate that anyone would go through similar things to what I've been through.

Boy I wish he would wake up figure out how to pleasure you!!!
He is so good in other areas, it has to be some kind of hangup about sex, or about having to use something other than his equipment when he is intimate, or maybe this is a projection of someother probleminot the sexual area.
No matter what it is, I send you my feelings of sympathy and hope for better times for you both.

I'm so sorry. God, this totally sucks doesn't it. Why can't things just make sense and be easy???? Life would be much more happier that way.

Oh, no. This is not good. I wish I had something else to say.
On a positive note, it's much better for him to be honest and tell you that he wants to do it tomorrow night than to just not say anything about it or tell you he doesn't want to do it.
There's a right way and a wrong way to turn down sex, and it sounds like he's getting better with it. I'd much rather hear a "I'm very tired, can we do something fun tomorrow night?" than "I just don't feel like it."
By the way, I now have the urge to leave quotes from The Big Lebowski in all my comments.
